The Ebonyi State Government has commenced the demarcation of the boundary between the Abomege and Ishinkwo communities in Onicha Local Government Area.
A viral Facebook video, shared by the Public Relations Officer of the local government, Omenkannaya Orogwu, captures the ongoing exercise. The footage shows earth-moving machines at work under the supervision of the Onicha Local Government Chairman, Ikechukwu Ogbuoffia, who was accompanied by security personnel.
The demarcation process is expected to ease longstanding tensions between the two communities, ensuring a clear territorial definition and promoting peaceful coexistence.
