A Development Centre (DC) Coordinator in Ebonyi State has been accused of allegedly diverting skill acquisition equipment meant for beneficiaries to personal use.
The allegation, contained in a report by Mbam Ogodo in Abakaliki, has sparked calls for security agencies to investigate the matter and recover the equipment.
The accuser urged relevant authorities to intervene, establish the whereabouts of the skill acquisition items and ensure that equipment provided for community development and empowerment programmes is used for its intended purpose.
The development has also raised concerns over the management of government-supported skill acquisition initiatives in Ebonyi State, with stakeholders calling for greater accountability and transparency in the distribution and utilisation of empowerment equipment.
