The Ebonyi State Executive Council has approved ₦300 million to empower an additional 100 graduates under the Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru Empowerment Programme (FONEP).

The beneficiaries, who completed their training at the Master Skill and Development Service, Agbani, Enugu, under the Agri-business training scheme, will each receive ₦3 million to establish their farms.

The decision was made during the Executive Council Meeting held on February 7, 2025, as part of the state’s ongoing efforts to boost human capital development and encourage youth participation in agriculture.
