Four Ebonyi Indigenes Promoted to Generals in Nigerian Army, Nwifuru Urges Patriotism

Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, has celebrated the promotion of four illustrious sons of the state to the rank of Generals in the Nigerian Army. He called on them to continue exemplifying patriotism and dedication in protecting Nigeria’s territorial integrity.

The newly promoted officers are Major-General Emmanuel Otu, Brigadier-General Igwe Omoke, Brigadier-General Ogbonnaya Igwe, and Brigadier-General Charles Nwonyi.

In his congratulatory message, Governor Nwifuru expressed pride in their remarkable achievements and unwavering commitment to national service.

“It is with great joy and immense pride that I congratulate you on this well-deserved elevation. Your dedication, discipline, and professionalism have not only earned you this recognition but have also brought honor to Ebonyi State,” he said.

The Governor further acknowledged their leadership and resilience in upholding the values of the Armed Forces, urging them to inspire others through their service.

“Your promotion is not just a personal milestone but a reflection of the strength and values that define our military. I am confident you will continue to exemplify courage, honor, and unwavering service to our nation,” he added.
