APC Leaders, Governors Gather in Ebonyi for Tinubu 2027 Re-election Endorsement Rally

Top leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), including governors and members of the party’s National Working Committee, have converged on Abakaliki for a mega rally endorsing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bid for a second term in the 2027 presidential election.

The rally, held at the Abakaliki Township Stadium, was led by APC National Chairman, , alongside other senior party officials.

The event attracted prominent political figures, including: Minister of Works , Deputy Governor of Enugu State , and former Secretary to the Government of the Federation .

Addressing supporters at the gathering, Ebonyi State APC Chairman, Chief Santely Okoro-Emegha, said the rally was aimed at showcasing the state’s support for President Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign.

He expressed confidence that Ebonyi State would deliver massive electoral backing for the President across its local government areas.

Speaking at the event, David Umahi said the South-East region was gradually becoming more connected with the Tinubu administration, citing ongoing federal projects as signs of improved infrastructure development and government inclusion.

He referenced major projects in Ebonyi, including a federal road construction initiative reportedly valued at N445 billion.

Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo, who attended the rally in solidarity with Ebonyi Governor, said his presence reflected support for development-driven leadership. Although he is a member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Soludo said he supports initiatives focused on progress and national development.

The governor also recalled his historical ties with Ebonyi, noting that his earlier years in the state were linked to his father’s work at the Nigercem Cement Company in Nkalagu.

The Ebonyi APC rally is seen as a major political gathering ahead of the 2027 general elections, with party leaders using the occasion to strengthen support for President Tinubu’s second-term ambition.
