The Ebonyi State Government has announced the commencement of a maintenance exercise on the PRESCO flyover and adjoining damaged sections of the road network.
In a statement issued by the Commissioner for Works, Engr. Stanley Lebechi Mbam, the ministry noted that the exercise is part of efforts to ensure safer and more motorable roads for residents and commuters within the state.
The Commissioner appealed to road users to adhere strictly to all road signs and directions that will be provided by engineers and traffic officials during the period of the repairs.
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this exercise may cause. The intention is to make the road more motorable and safe for the public. It can only get better,” Engr. Mbam stated.
The Ministry of Works also assured that adequate measures are being put in place to minimize disruption to traffic flow and emphasized the need for patience and cooperation from the public.
