Fallen Ebonyi Soldier Laid to Rest in Maiduguri Following Deadly Encounter with Suspected Bandits

Yesterday, the remains of Akachukwu Nwite—a valiant young soldier from Oshiri Ugoeze in Ebonyi State—were laid to rest at the Nigerian Army Cemetery in Maiduguri, Borno State.

He made the ultimate sacrifice while defending Nigeria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, embodying the spirit of true patriotism.

Appreciation is extended to the Defence Headquarters and the Nigerian Army for their support and communication with the bereaved family. It is anticipated that all statutory obligations will be duly fulfilled.
