Mother’s Day 2025: Nwifuru Commits to Gender-Inclusive Policies for Ebonyi Women

In celebration of Mothering Sunday, Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru has reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to gender-responsive governance. Addressing women in Abakaliki, Nwifuru praised their resilience, strength, and vital contributions to family and society, promising policies that promote inclusivity and equal opportunities.

The governor emphasized that women are the pillars of both homes and communities, highlighting their nurturing roles and unwavering support in shaping the next generation. He assured Ebonyi women that his government remains committed to advancing gender-focused policies that enhance their well-being and socio-economic growth.

Similarly, former Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki recognized the dedication and sacrifices of women across Nigeria and beyond. In a statement issued in Benin City, he called on leaders at all levels to prioritize women-focused initiatives, particularly in healthcare, education, and economic empowerment.
