Ebonyi APC Denies Alleged Dispute Between Nwifuru and Umahi

Date:

The Ebonyi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has refuted claims of a disagreement between Governor Francis Nwifuru and the Minister of Works, David Umahi.

Amid speculations circulating on social media about a possible political struggle, the party’s State Chairman, Stanley Okoro-Emegha, addressed journalists in Abakaliki during a ward and local government tour. He dismissed the reports as unfounded, stressing that both leaders share a cordial relationship and work towards the common goal of strengthening the party’s presence in the state.

He further emphasized that the APC operates on a structured framework where every member understands their responsibilities. The ongoing tour, he explained, is designed to engage grassroots supporters, identify challenges, and enhance party cohesion.

Okoro-Emegha also noted that the leadership is focused on restructuring at the local level to ensure effective governance and political stability. Additionally, efforts are being made to attract new members from opposition parties, reinforcing APC’s influence in Ebonyi.

With this statement, the party seeks to put an end to speculations and reaffirm its commitment to political unity and development in the state.
