Governor Francis Nwifuru has called on the contractor handling the Ezzillo-Iyionu-Ezzagu road project in Ishielu Local Government Area to accelerate work and ensure completion before the rainy season.
During an unannounced visit to the construction site, the governor expressed satisfaction with the quality of work but noted that progress has been slow. Despite initial concerns, he commended the contractor’s efforts and acknowledged their commitment to deploying additional materials and machinery to fast-track the project.
Governor Nwifuru also appreciated the support of the local community, emphasizing that their cooperation has contributed to the project’s progress. He reassured residents of his administration’s dedication to delivering high-quality infrastructure to enhance transportation and economic growth in Ebonyi State.
