The C-Sagas Charity Foundation has strengthened access to tertiary education in Ebonyi State by awarding scholarships and bursaries to outstanding students during its 2026 screening exercise held at the Ebonyi State College of Education, Ikwo.
A total of 20 high-performing students received scholarships worth ₦1 million each, while 170 others were granted bursary awards to support their academic journey.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Christian Asaga Nwali, said the initiative underscores the foundation’s commitment to human capital development and youth empowerment in Nigeria.
Speaking to beneficiaries, Nwali praised their dedication and resilience, encouraging them to uphold values such as integrity, excellence, and service while representing the foundation.
He noted that their success in the competitive screening process reflects their potential to emerge as future leaders capable of driving meaningful change in society.
Nwali also urged candidates who were not selected to remain hopeful, assuring them that the foundation will continue to create opportunities for young people across Ebonyi State.
The foundation further acknowledged the support of stakeholders, including former Ebonyi State Governor David Umahi and current Governor Francis Nwifuru, for their contributions to advancing education in the state.
He reaffirmed the foundation’s long-term vision, stating that its scholarship and bursary programme is designed to expand access to higher education and nurture a new generation of leaders who will transform their communities and the nation.
