The Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, is set to address residents of the state in a special New Year broadcast scheduled for Thursday, January 1, 2026, by 6:30am.
According to a public service announcement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Monday Uzor, the broadcast will provide an opportunity for the people of Ebonyi State to hear directly from the Governor on the current state of affairs as well as his plans and policy direction for the year ahead.
The broadcast will be aired live on the Ebonyi State Broadcasting Corporation (EBBC) via Salt 98.1 FM and Salt Television on Startimes Channel 113.
Residents can also follow the address via live streaming on Facebook (Ebonyi State Broadcasting Corporation) and YouTube (officialebbc), alongside other social media platforms.
Citizens of the state have been encouraged to tune in to the broadcast to stay informed on governance and development priorities for the new year.
