Ebonyi State Advances Plans for International Airport Certification

Date:

Efforts to secure certification for the Ebonyi State International Airport took a significant step forward as Governor Francis Nwifuru sought the support of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

During a courtesy visit to Chris Najomo, Acting Director-General of Civil Aviation, in Abuja on Monday, Nwifuru highlighted the airport’s role in the state’s broader transport master plan. He emphasized its strategic importance in serving Ebonyi, Abia, Benue, and parts of Cross River States.

Najomo, in turn, expressed appreciation for the visit and pledged NCAA’s commitment to providing technical guidance and regulatory oversight, aligning with the Federal Government’s ease of doing business agenda.
