An Ebonyi-based cleric, Prophet Emmanuel Chukwudi, of the King of Kings Deliverance Ministry in Gbonum Ulepa Ntezi, has once again prophesied that the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, will soon regain his freedom.
In a statement issued on Friday, Prophet Chukwudi urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to heed divine instruction and release the detained IPOB leader, whom he described as innocent before God.
According to the preacher, God revealed that Nnamdi Kanu’s release had already taken place in the spiritual realm and would soon manifest physically. He also linked the planned October 20 protest to the fulfillment of this prophecy, insisting it confirmed his divine revelation.
“There was no wind, yet I saw it clearly. God told me that Kanu is already free. His release is about to manifest. I didn’t even know about the protest plan, but this proves that the revelation is true,” the cleric stated.
Prophet Chukwudi warned of impending calamity if the federal government ignored the divine message, reiterating that Kanu remained blameless before God. He further disclosed that since 2017, he had been given a special message for Nnamdi Kanu, which must be delivered once the IPOB leader is released.
He called on Kanu to visit his ministry in Ntezi to receive the revelation that, according to him, would help the Biafra activist fulfill his divine purpose.
The prophet recalled a similar prophecy in 2017 concerning Kanu’s release, which came to pass. However, he claimed that the failure to heed God’s message at that time led to tragic consequences, including the military invasion of Kanu’s Afara-Umuahia residence.
“Not long after, soldiers stormed his home, killing several of his followers. Kanu barely escaped with his life,” he said, stressing that the warning still stands.
Prophet Chukwudi has previously made prophecies regarding former President Goodluck Jonathan, ex-President Muhammadu Buhari’s 2015 victory, and Donald Trump’s emergence as U.S. president.
