Mgbo Central School in Okposi, Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State has received a significant facelift following the renovation of a long-abandoned 5-classroom block, courtesy of Hon. Nkemkanma Kama, the member representing Ohaozara/Onicha/Ivo Federal Constituency (popularly known as Ohanivo) in the House of Representatives.
The dilapidated structure, which had been in a state of disrepair for years, posed a serious threat to the safety of students and hindered effective teaching and learning in the school. However, the recent intervention by the lawmaker has brought new hope to the school community.
Residents and education stakeholders in the area have expressed gratitude to Hon. Kama for the renovation, which they described as timely and impactful. According to them, the project not only improves the learning environment but also shows the lawmaker’s commitment to grassroots development and the promotion of quality education in his constituency.
The newly renovated block is expected to serve hundreds of pupils and contribute to the overall improvement of basic education in the Okposi community.
Hon. Kama’s latest gesture adds to the list of constituency projects he has championed across the Ohanivo axis, as he continues to deliver on his promises to improve infrastructure, education, and quality of life for his constituents.
