Ebonyi State Governor, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, on Sunday, joined his fellow Progressive Governors in Asaba, Delta State, to welcome Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta into the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The high-level political gathering was led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who was represented by Vice President Sen. Kashim Shettima. The event marks a significant moment in Nigeria’s political space, especially in the South-South region.

“Yesterday, I was in Asaba, Delta State, alongside the Progressive Governors, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who was represented by the Vice President, Sen. Kashim Shettima, to welcome my good friend and Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori into the All Progressives Congress (APC) family,” Nwifuru stated.“We have one shared vision under the Renewed Hope Agenda, and together, we will be stronger and more resilient in meeting the needs of our people.”
