Dr. Ifeanyi-Chukwuma Odii and his wife, Chief Mrs. Ebelechukwuma Odii, received a grand civic reception from the Isu Achara community in Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State over the weekend. The well-attended event was organized to celebrate the couple’s notable contributions to community growth, particularly in human capital development.

In addition to the celebration, Dr. Odii announced a new agricultural empowerment initiative targeted at youths in the community. Through the program, 15 young individuals from Isu Achara will receive hands-on training and support in modern agribusiness. The initiative will focus on the cultivation of essential crops including rice, yam, cassava, and vegetables.
According to him, the goal is to promote food security, reduce unemployment, and foster economic growth by equipping young people with the skills and resources needed to succeed in agriculture.
Community leaders and guests praised the development, describing it as a major step toward sustainable development in Ebonyi State.
This initiative underscores the importance of grassroots leadership and practical empowerment efforts that directly impact the lives of local residents.
