Ebonyi Man Expresses Gratitude to Governor Nwifuru for ₦18 Million Medical Support

Date:

An Ebonyi State indigene, Ewo Ekene Wilfred, has publicly expressed deep appreciation to Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and his wife, Her Excellency Chief Mrs. Uzoamaka Mary-Maudline Nwifuru, for providing financial assistance toward his wife’s critical surgery.

In a heartfelt message, Wilfred revealed that the governor generously contributed ₦18 million towards the ₦28.5 million hospital bill required for his wife’s life-saving procedure at St. Nicolas Hospital, Lagos Island.

“Your Excellency, your intervention came at a time when all hope seemed lost. Because of your generosity, my wife can now undergo surgery and receive the urgent medical care she desperately needs,” he said.

He went on to commend the governor’s compassionate leadership and described the support as a “miracle” for his family. He also extended prayers for continued blessings, protection, and guidance over the Governor and First Lady.

Wilfred also thanked Hon. Ekene Chukwu Nwokoro—whom he referred to as “Hope Giver”—for his unwavering support, acknowledging the deep impact his help has had on his family’s life.

Additional appreciation was extended to several individuals, including Hon. Ben Augustine, Odenigbo Paul Feng, Kizito Nwovu, Comr Paschal Nwovu, Ike Olisa, Best Njida, Jude David, Mmadu-Abuchi Titus, Ugo Sunday Nwali, and others who supported the family during their time of need.

“May God in His infinite mercy reward you all abundantly. If I missed any name, please forgive me,” he added.
