Ebonyi Police Command Engages Organised Labour on Strengthening Collaboration

On March 27, 2025, Commissioner of Police (CP) Adaku A. Uche-Anya, fdc, welcomed representatives of organised labour in Ebonyi State, including the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC).

The NLC State Chairman commended the police command for its support in ensuring workers’ rights and fostering a peaceful environment. Similarly, the TUC Chairman acknowledged the productive relationship between both parties, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation.

CP Uche-Anya appreciated their visit and reiterated the command’s commitment to strengthening security and collaboration with labour unions.

A key highlight of the meeting was the exchange of mementoes, symbolizing mutual appreciation and a shared commitment to ongoing partnership. Senior officers of the command were also in attendance to receive the labour leaders.
