During the resettlement event, the NDE’s Director-General, Silas Agara, represented by the State Coordinator, Pastor Don Anaba, reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to fostering economic empowerment. According to him, the initiative is designed to provide participants with essential tools and financial support to establish small-scale businesses.

Beneficiaries received starter packs and loan facilities tailored to their respective vocational training areas. These resources will enable them to transition from job seekers to entrepreneurs, contributing to local economic growth.

Speaking at the event, some beneficiaries expressed gratitude, stating that the initiative had given them a fresh start. Many noted that the skills they acquired, coupled with financial support, would enable them to build sustainable livelihoods.
