Ebonyi First Lady, Mary-Maudline Nwifuru, Wins The Sun First Lady of the Year Award

The wife of the Ebonyi State Governor, Mary-Maudline Nwifuru, has been named The Sun First Lady of the Year for 2024 in recognition of her outstanding contributions to humanitarian and social causes.

Announcing the award, The Sun Newspapers commended Mrs. Nwifuru’s dedication to empowering women and improving the welfare of vulnerable groups in Ebonyi State and beyond.

Reacting to the recognition, the First Lady expressed her gratitude, stating that the award serves as a motivation to continue her efforts in service to humanity. She acknowledged the collective support of stakeholders who have contributed to the success of her initiatives.

The official award presentation is scheduled to take place on March 1, 2025, in Lagos State.
