From Visionary Leader to Ebubedike 1: Nwali Honored in Unweka

In recognition of his outstanding philanthropy and commitment to community development, Architect Chief Christian Asaga Nwali, Ph.D., has been crowned Ebubedike 1 of Unweka Ancient Kingdom during the Unweka Day celebration in Ikwo Local Government Area, Ebonyi State. The event, organized by the Unweka General Assembly (UGA), represents the communities of Ekpelu, Eka-Awoke, and Ekpaomaka.

As the CEO of C-Sagas Group of Companies, Chief Nwali oversees diverse enterprises in hospitality, construction, and real estate, including Cirenes Hotels in Abakaliki, Exclusive Serene Hotels in Enugu and Abuja, and C.Sagas Luxury Homes Ltd. His businesses employ over 2,000 people, and he is widely regarded as a mentor and leader in these industries. A graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, he holds a Ph.D. in Architecture and an honorary doctorate in Entrepreneurship from the American-European University.

Key Contributions

Chief Nwali’s philanthropic impact is both extensive and transformative:

  • Donated transformers for rural electrification and constructed community town halls.
  • Funded scholarships for secondary and tertiary students.
  • Facilitated skill acquisition programs for youths to promote self-reliance.
  • Built homes for senior staff and donated over 50 vehicles to employees and NGOs.
  • Constructed buildings for churches and community centers, including a 2-story edifice for the Redeemed Christian Church of God
