Chigozie Ogbu, the Professor and Vice-Chancellor of Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki, has announced the implementation of a cashless system within the university to combat financial leakages. Speaking at a media chat ahead of the university’s 12th-15th Convocation ceremony scheduled for April 20th, 2024, Ogbu highlighted the transition to a centralized payment system through the school portal, effectively reducing financial discrepancies.
